How This Calculator Works
Our UF GPA calculator uses the University of Florida's official grading system to calculate your grade point average. The calculation follows UF's academic standards and provides accurate GPA calculations along with academic standing information.
The GPA Calculation Formula
GPA = Total Quality Points ÷ Total Credit Hours
Quality Points = Grade Points × Credit Hours
UF uses a 4.0 scale where A = 4.0 points, B = 3.0 points, C = 2.0 points, etc. Plus/minus grades have intermediate values (A- = 3.67, B+ = 3.33, etc.).
