How This Calculator Works
Our ASU GPA calculator uses Arizona State University's official grading system to calculate your grade point average. The calculation follows ASU's academic standards and provides accurate GPA calculations along with academic standing information.
The GPA Calculation Formula
GPA = Total Quality Points ÷ Total Credit Hours
Quality Points = Grade Points × Credit Hours
ASU uses a 4.0 scale where A = 4.0 points, B = 3.0 points, C = 2.0 points, etc. Plus/minus grades have intermediate values (A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, etc.).
