How This Calculator Works
Our AP World History score calculator uses the official College Board scoring methodology to predict your exam results. The calculation follows standardized AP scoring guidelines used by the College Board to ensure accurate predictions for college credit eligibility.
The Scoring Formula
Multiple Choice: (Correct × 1.09) × 40% weight
Free Response: (SAQ + DBQ + LEQ) × 60% weight
Composite = MC + FRQ (0-100 scale)
The composite score (0-100) is then converted to the 1-5 AP scale using official College Board conversion tables. Scores of 3+ typically qualify for college credit.
