In weekly schedule mode, the calculator multiplies hourly pay by the hours you work each week and by the number of paid weeks in the year. In 2,080 mode, it multiplies hourly pay by 2,080 paid hours, then derives weekly gross as annual divided by 52 and biweekly as annual divided by 26 so common pay cycles stay aligned with the annual figure. Monthly gross always divides annual by twelve. Average weekday gross divides weekly gross by five for a simple Monday–Friday planning shortcut.
